FREAK NASTY!! (NYC EDITION)
For the first time ever, I've been, recruted, lol. To feature at one of the hottest erotic poetry events in the tristate area! Freak Nasty! (May 26th, 2011) An interactive poetry base event with some of the best gutter mouth and minded spoken word artists NY has to offer! Which also includes music, a fashion show, naked body painted models (male & female) and not to mention one hell of an after party. lol. :-)
There will be two shows on this night:

An new place for poets and promoters alike has been created by internationally known poet/author/musician Ainsley Burrows atpoetryexchange.ning.comWhere you can link up with other poets/promoters and end up booking a show for your self anywhere in the world. Raising $$ to keep Sistas on the Rise (a Community space that helps young and teenage mothers and mothers to be get and stay on there feet, life wise. Also, I'll be making my 2nd feature appearance at the legendary Nuyorican Poets cafe, Nov. 27th. 9 months after my first back in February of this year. Features also include, Paz, The Werdsman, (Poet, L.I., NY/Brooklyn), and D the Schizophrenic (Poet, Newark, NJ) If you can make the trek or if your in town at the time, your attendance and support would be great!! :o)
My book,(Unlocked thoughts of a Prophet's Temple) if you were unaware, will be "unlocked" soon. In parts anyway. I've decided due to $$ limitations currently, that I'll be releasing my 5 chapter chapbook, for now, with each chapter as separated books themselves. The first one slated to be ready by early/mid Dec. at the latest. And will be subtitled: "Humble Beginnings". If your also not aware what my book will be about, basically is, : a look into my trials and tribulations as a said, "Prophet/soothsayer" with affirmations, passages and poems to express them in a creative understanding form. Over almost the past 3 decades and mainly the past half decade of things I went through.
Finally, I know my BK heads have been waiting, patiently. So....My next and First feature in BK in a while will be in the New year. February 2nd, 2011! :-D And I do plan to get loose with this tongue! Lol! The details are below in show schedule of the link to my reverbnation page.
And yes. I'm currently working out details and making arrangements to make it down to ATL, PHILLY, BALTIMORE, MA, CA, TX, NC & SC as well as other areas included on the west coast, and further North and South east, within the next few weeks and months. (Trying to set up a tour heading into and by early next year at the latest)

PS: And as for my album, which I'm aware that many are anxious to drop. Will be getting it in some more time in the studio real, real soon. So that I can be ready in time for l8r this Winter. With prod. by MC and producer Chris Phoenix. And Producer/singer-song writer Omni Blaze. Still touching base with the guest stars that will be on it. And believe me when I tell ya...we bout to make some magic happen on wax. Trust. Be ready for "Brooklyn's Lost Son" coming to venue, :) and a retailer near you. B-)

about myself. Which I'll go into more detail at a later time.

I've only done so bout 4 times ever, to my recollection.

Summer 2010 (Either July 27/but more likely early Aug. There have been unexpected delays I could, but didn't and couldn't, out of my control. Sooner or later than perspective dates pending my momentum.
Will pin down a exact as soon as its closer to completion. (no, I'm not rushing it. But if things go mad smooth it will be ready during this summer season.
And my CD got some production kinks to work out before I set a date for an official release date/party in the future.
More info to come on both.) Either this or my next CD, God willing, will be released around my born day in October.
